• 19.6 million telecommuters typically work 9 days per month at home with an average of 3 hours per week during normal business hours
• Telecommuters are typically: married, well educated, in managerial or professional ranks
• Productivity gain is equal to approximately $1,850 per telecommuter
• Employers can save $2,086 on absenteeism per telecommuter
• Companies can save $7,920 for each telecommuter per year
