Deloitte & Touche’s 1998 survey of 500 CEOs from the fastest-growing U.S. IT firms reported:

• say finding, hiring and keeping qualified workers was their biggest challenge
• For some companies, keeping employees happy at work means letting them stay at home. 42 per cent of the CEOs surveyed said they offered telecommuting to their employees
