Training

Proper training for managers and employees is essential for a telecommuting program's continued success. Telecommute Connecticut offers two training options:
  • Training materials, include the Best Practices Guide, to help you conduct your own training program in-house.
  • On-site customized training conducted by our specialists (typically in two phases). First, we train managers, supervisors and selected employees and prepare them to conduct a pilot program. Once the pilot program has been successfully completed, we train the rest of your employees who will be involved in telecommuting.
Our programs and materials cover the benefits of telecommuting, how to design a program, how to gain support for it, key steps for implementing a telecommuting program, tips for telecommuters on how to set up a home office, etc.
